The library now offers a monthly e-newsletter. Sign-up on the website at peotonelibrary.org. Then, at the bottom of the opening page, click on the Newsletter Signup box.

Interested in the Homebound Delivery Program? Contact the Adult Services Department for more information and guidelines. Register for events on the website calendar or call the library at 708-258-3436.

Youth Services

April 25: In the Kitchen with Ms. Sarah, online, Thursday, at 5 p.m.

April 30: Bookworm Buddies, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages three-to-five years.

May 1: Little Learners Storytime, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero-three.

May 3: Teen Book Club at PHS, Friday, at 7:45 a.m.

May 4: Sensory Playtime, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., ages zero-five years.

Adult Services

April 27: Tea Time with Kankakee Tea Company, Saturday, from 1 – 2 p.m.; Please register.

April 29: Puzzle Swap, Monday, from 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

May 1: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11-11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.

May 2: Clue – Mystery Book Club at Heritage Center, at 11 a.m. The club will discuss “The Bughouse Affair,” by Marcia Muller.
