Mark your calendars for the Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale – Thursday, April 18, Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20.

Interested in the Homebound Delivery Program? Contact the Adult Services Department for more information and guidelines. Register for events on the website calendar or call the library at 708-258-3436.

Mark your calendars: The next Friends of the Library meeting is Tuesday, March 12, at 11 a.m., at Cornerstone Coffee.

Youth Services

March 1: PHS Book Club, Friday, from 7:45 – 8:15 a.m., at the high school.

March 2: Sensory Playtime, Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero to five; Sensory toys will be set up in the conference room for free play.

March 5: Bookworm Buddies, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages three-to-five years.

March 6: Little Learners Storytime, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero-three.

March 7: Kids’ BINGO for Books, Thursday, at 4:30 p.m.

March 9: Candy Sushi Creations, Saturday, at 1 p.m. Please register.

Adult Services

February 29: End of Adult Winter Reading, Thursday; Last day to turn in reading log books.

March 4: Book Bingo, Monday, at 11 a.m.

March 4 – 9: Take-and-Make Craft, Monday – Saturday, while supplies last.

March 5: Tuesday Book Discussion at 6:30 p.m.

March 6: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11-11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.

March 7: Clue – A Mystery Book Club, Thursday, at Monee Heritage Center, from 11 a.m. to noon.
