Goodfellow Awarded Associated Orthodontists $1,000 Scholarship

Associated Orthodontists proudly announced that Grace Goodfellow, of Beecher and a student at Illiana Christian School, was chosen as a winner of its annual scholarship program. The program was open to all current and former patients who were graduating high school seniors, received full braces at Associated Orthodontists, and had a GPA of at least 3.0.

A total of five winners received a $1,000 scholarship, to be applied directly to tuition at a college, university, vocational training, or technical school.

Applications were reviewed by a panel at Associated Orthodontists and were chosen based on submitted essays, academic achievements, and participation in school and community activities.

Grace is looking forward to attending Indiana Wesleyan University after graduation, majoring in the sciences. She has been named to the High Honor Roll and is in the top 10 percent of her graduating class. Grace is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Team, Missions Club, Hydroponics Club, in addition to participating in varsity soccer and Team AKA Karate.

In her spare time, she volunteers at Alicia’s House Food Pantry, the Crete Church Youth Group, PAKT Karate, plus various mission trips throughout her high school years.
