Preschool Art Play, kit for children ages four/five; Register to reserve a kit.

Knot Just for Knitters, from 1-2 p.m., adults and teens; Share camaraderie, while working on knitting, crocheting, or any other type of needlework. Drop-in.

Babies and Books, kit for children ages birth-23 months; Register to reserve a kit.

Saturday, April 9

National Unicorn Day, kit for children grades K-five; Register to reserve a kit.

Be Red Cross Ready, from 1-2 p.m., adults; Learn how to be prepared for disasters that may strike the community, such as fires, floods, tornadoes, storms, and other emergencies. Registration is requested.

Monday, April 11

CPLD Book Discussion Group, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., adults; Come and discuss The Last Days of Lennon, by James Patterson. Drop-in.

Tuesday, April 12

Help for Job Seekers, from 1 – 3:30 p.m., adults; This service is provided by the Mobile Workforce Center in the library’s parking lot. Drop-in.

Wednesday, April 13

Toddler Time, kit for children ages two/three; Register to reserve a kit.

Upcycled Crafts – No-Sew Zipper Pouches, kit for children grades K-five; Register to reserve a kit.

A Picturesque Poetry Reading, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., adults; Local poet and photographer Terry Foote will read and discuss selected poems from his book, Picturesque Poetry. Copies of the book will be available for sale afterwards. Registration is requested.

Thursday, April 14

Anime Club, from 3 – 4:30 p.m., for ages 11-18; Anime screenings, plus snacks and bottled water provided. Registration is requested.

New Computer Buying Guide, from 6 – 7 p.m., adults; Learn about the different options available when purchasing a new desktop or laptop. Register.

Trivia Night at Evil Horse, from 7 – 9 p.m., adults; This month’s theme is Anything Goes, with trivia questions on general topics. Evil Horse Brewing Company is at 1338 Main Street. Drop-in.
