By Jim Piacentini

Tuesday, February 6, the Bobcats provided the home fans with a huge win plus a new record, as the Bobcats beat the Reed-Custer Comets, 80-50. The game goes into the record book as Beecher’s 27th win for the season, while setting a new record!

The Bobcats came out of the gates hitting, taking a 22-15 lead by the end of the first quarter, with Adyn McGinley and Orlin Nesbitt taking charge.

The second and third quarters were all Bobcats, as well, with Beecher out-scoring the Comets 41-20. That was enough to put the Bobcats over the hill. The Comets tried, but the Bobcats were too tough.

Beecher had 9 players on the books, including McGinley with 15 points and 3 steals, and Jack Hayhurst with 14 points, as well as 3 steals. Ethan Rydberg added 10 points and 3 assists, while Zack Johnson finished with 9 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds. Way to go, Bobcats!!
