Beecher Police Blotter: June 20 – 25

June 20, Jackson Drake, 20, of Heather Lane, Bourbonnais, was observed in a golf cart at 615 Dixie Highway by officers. The encounter revealed Drake possessed marijuana and fake identification. He was charged with possession of a fictitious driver’s license and transported to the Will County Adult detention facility.

June 20, Patrick Gubbins, 34, of the 12500 block of East Metcalf Avenue, Momence, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Goodenow for passing in a no passing zone and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested, processed, and bonded.

June 21, Terry Gomez, 36, of the 10 block of Swan Lane, Beecher, was in a vehicle near the Beecher splash pad, and a parent called the police believing it was suspicious. The vehicle was located and stopped in the 600 block of Church Road. Marijuana and controlled substances were found in the vehicle. Gomez was charged with driving while his license was revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol, adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

June 22, Saul Sanchez, 35, of the 5200 block of Broadway, Merrillville, was stopped at 1111 Dixie Highway for having a suspended registration and found to have no valid driver’s license. He was arrested, processed, and bonded.

June 22, Arturo Gallegos, 23, of the 1100 block of Cherry Lane, Beecher, was arrested at his home for an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear on a Will County warrant. He posted the appropriate bond amount and was released.

June 22, Nicholas Hammond, 40, of the 800 block of Harlem Road, Machesney Park, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Country Lane for having an expired registration and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested, issued citations for both offenses, bonded, and released.

June 24, Pablo Armando Luz, 27, of the 3500 block of W. 58th Street, Chicago, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Church Road for speeding and found to have no valid driver’s license. He was charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol, speeding, and having no valid driver’s license. He was arrested, processed, bonded, and released.

June 25, Wakil El, 51, of the 11100 block of Emerald Avenue, Chicago, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Hodges for a vehicle equipment violation and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested, bonded, and released.
