Tuition Assistance Available to McDonald Employees

Johanna Linman, director of operations with Linman Family McDonald’s, is proud to announce more than $32,000 of tuition assistance was awarded locally in 2021. Thirteen McDonald employees from Beecher, Manteno, and Peotone received assistance from the Archways to Opportunity Program.

Archways to Opportunity offers $2,500 a year in tuition assistance to employees interested in attending or who already are enrolled in college.

To be eligible for the scholarship, a person must work for McDonald’s for at least 90 days, work an average of 15 hours a week, and be recommended by the owner/operator or director of operations. Linman Family McDonald’s is committed to providing jobs that fit around the lives of restaurant employees so they may further their education and achieve their dreams.

Archways to Opportunity is a comprehensive educational strategy, with multiple programs that give people an opportunity to grow and learn. Employees may apply for Archways to Opportunity even if they have already applied for another scholarship.
