Thomas Goleski, 73, of Peotone, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2023, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee following a sudden illness. Born on September 2, 1949, in Ogdensburg, New York, he was the son of Paul and Mildred (Simmons) Goleski. Tom married Nadene Vetter on May 7, 1994, in Beecher. He worked for Metra for more than 30 years, retiring in 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Nadene Goleski of Peotone; children, Jim Goleski of Oregon, Jennifer (Danny) Rodriguez of Georgia, and Brandy (Recap) Yagcier of Manteno; grandchildren, Ashley, Caitlyn, Emily, Matthew, and Isabelle; sisters, Darlene (Roddy) Burns of New York and Sally Schell of Chebanse; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David and Paul Goleski.
