Homebound Delivery Program begins November 1. Contact the Adult Services Department for more information and guidelines.

The library also is a collection site for Toys for Tots. New and unwrapped toys may be dropped off during library hours November 6 – December 9.

The next Friends of the Peotone Public Library District meeting is at Cornerstone, on Tuesday, November 7, at 11 a.m. Register for events on the website calendar or call the library at 708-258-3436.

Youth Services

November 2: Young Adult Book Talk, online, Thursday, at 5 p.m.

November 3: Teen Book Club, Friday, at PHS, at 7:45 a.m.

November 4: Sensory Playtime, Saturday, ages zero-to-five, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

November 7: Bookworm Buddies, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages three-to-five years.

November 8: Little Learners Storytime, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero-three.

November 9: Kindness Bookmarks, Thursday, at 4:30 p.m.

Adult Services

November 2: Mystery Book Club at Heritage Center, 5210 W. Court Street in Monee, Thursday, at 11 a.m. The club will discuss “The Woman in the Library,” by Sulari Gentill.

November 6 – 11: Take-and-Make Craft, Monday – Saturday; register to schedule pick-up.

November 6: Book Bingo, Monday, at 11 a.m.

November 7: Tuesday Book Discussion, at 6:30 p.m.

November 8: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11-11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.

November 8: Illinois Libraries Present – A Taste of Love, with Maya Camille-Broussard, online, Wednesday, at 7 p.m. Register to receive link.
