Preschool Pals, from 1 – 2 p.m., ages four/five: During this independent storytime experience, children enjoy spending time with other pre-schoolers, while listening to stories, learning songs and fingerplays, and playing games. Register.

Manga Club for Teens, from 3 – 4 p.m., ages 12–18: Join us to discuss “The Way of the House Husband: Vol. 1,” by Kousuke Oono. Register.

Film Club, from 5:30 – 8 p.m., adults: Enjoy watching “Asteroid City” on the library’s big screen, with refreshments and a short discussion following the movie. Drop in.

STEAM Tots – Balloon Buddies, from 6 – 6:45 p.m., ages three/five: Blow those dreary January days away and use balloons to build, create, and experiment. Register.

Friday, January 26

Retro Movie Fridays, from 2:30 – 4:45 p.m., all ages. Showing “Twilight” (rated PG-13). Drop in.

Saturday, January 27

Love on a Leash, from 11 a.m. – noon, families: Snuggle up and read to a pup! The dogs from Love on a Leash will visit to spend one-on-one time reading with you. Register for an appointment time slot.

Monday, January 29

Book Appétit – Cookbook Book Club, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., ages 11/adult: Join us as we enjoy a potluck array of food from “That Cheese Plate Wants to Party,” by Marissa Mullen. Each member picks a recipe and brings their dish to share with other members. Copies of the cookbook will be available in advance at the library. Register.

Wednesday, January 31

Five Basic Principles for Getting (and Staying!) Organized, from 6 – 7 p.m., adults: As professional organizers and co-authors of the self-help book “Beyond Tidy,” Marie Limpert and Annmarie Brogan of Organize Me! of NY, LLC, will teach you their Five Basic Organizing Principles, answer questions, and provide solutions to common challenges that get people stuck. A short Q and A session will follow the presentation. This Zoom presentation is available to watch from home or at the library. Register.

Knot Just for Knitters, from 1 – 2 p.m., ages 11/adult: Join us to socialize while working on knitting, crocheting, or any other type of needlework project. Drop in.

Friday, February 2

Retro Movie Fridays, from 2:30 – 4:45 p.m., all ages. Showing “Cool Runnings” (rated PG). Drop in.

Saturday, February 3

Muffins with a Mystery Reader, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., families: Start the weekend with a delicious treat, while enjoying stories and songs with Ms. Kerry and the Mystery Reader. A parent or caregiver must be present. Register.

LEGO WeDo Robotics – Race Cars, from 1 – 2 p.m., grades first/fifth: We will build and code race cars to go FAST! Waiting list spots available. Register.
