Primetime for Preschool, from 1 – 2 p.m., ages four/five. Listen to stories, learn songs and finger plays, play games, and explore learning stations. Register.
Anime Club, from 3 – 4:30 p.m., grades sixth/12th. Come and watch “One Piece, Vol. 1, Ep. 1-3.” Snacks and bottled water will be provided. Drop in.
STEAM Tweens: Rain-Glow! from 6 – 7 p.m., grades third/fifth. Shake away the winter blues and have some fun with the rest of the rainbow! Join us and experiment with glow-in-the-dark colors to make a glowing eruption, fireworks in a jar, and glow-in-the-dark artwork! Register.
Trivia Night at Evil Horse, 1338 Main Street, from 7 – 9 p.m. Bob’s Burgers is this month’s theme. Compete on your own or bring a group of friends. Prizes will be awarded. Seating is first come, first served. Drop in.

Coding with Dash, from 10 – 11 a.m., grades third/fifth. Each session will focus on a specific challenge to help students get an introduction to using block-based programming and code, with a focus on robotics. Register.
Monday, March 13
Chess Club, from 3 – 5 p.m., grades sixth/12th. Are you a beginner or a pro at chess? Whatever the level, enjoy playing one of the oldest games in the world with peers. A limited number of chess boards and pieces will be provided. Drop in.
Tuesday, March 14
Dungeons and Dragons for Teens, from 3:30 – 5 p.m., grades sixth/12th. We will introduce you to this classic role-playing game and explain its rules while you play. Register.
I Now Pronounce You Lucy Stone, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Zoom, adults. Join us online for a dramatic portrayal of an influential but forgotten woman of history – Lucy Stone (1818–1893). The first woman from Massachusetts to earn a college degree, Lucy was an ardent supporter of human rights. Her belief that women and men should be equal was demonstrated in both her political and personal endeavors. Her impassioned speeches inspired thousands to join the suffrage movement, including Susan B. Anthony. As a wife, Lucy refused to take her husband’s name, becoming the first to do so in the nation. Register.

Teen Video Game Tournament, from 2:45 – 4 p.m., ages 13/18. One game will be chosen to play for each tournament, and players will experience fun yet competitive play. Register.
Traditional Irish Music, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., adults. Join us for a fascinating evening of lively traditional Irish music with Seán Cleland, master fiddle player and executive director of the Irish Music School of Chicago. Seán and his accompanist will take those in attendance on a tour of Ireland, where you not only enjoy toe-tapping Irish music but also hear the rich stories behind the tunes filled with lively characters and exciting adventures. Irish Cookery, from 6:30 – 8 p.m., Zoom, adults. Cook along with Chef Kristyn Slick and discover how the food and cooking of Ireland is steeped in history and heritage. Register.
