Crete Area Chamber of Commerce holds their monthly meetings at 6:30 p.m., on the second Wednesday of each month, at the library. Here’s what’s happening in Crete…

April 18: Free Google Business Workshop, in conjunction with the Chicago Southland Chamber, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; Members/non-members; Bring personal digital device. Register with QR code on flyer.

April 29: Kick-off planning meeting for Crete Country Christmas; 6 p.m., Crete Township Hall.

April 29: Pickleball Leagues begin; Contact Crete Park District to register.

May 14: Crete Township Board, special meeting, 7 p.m., at the Sertoma Star building, 25930 S. Cottage Grove, to consider acquiring the building.

May 27: Memorial Day Service at 11 a.m., Crete Park, with parade at noon.

Mondays, June – August: Farmers Market and Cruise Nights, 4 – 8 p.m., downtown Crete and Crete United Methodist Church parking lot, begins June 3.

June 14-15: Garage Sale Days, with applications available at Old Plank Trail Bank, Crete Library, or village hall.
