Bobcats Tally Winning Week
On December 6, the Bobcats trounced rival Clifton Central on Central’s court, 73-57. For the night, Adyn McGinley led the Bobcats with 21 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. He was followed closely by teammate Zack Johnson, who finished with 18 points.
High scorers for Clifton were junior Logan Fritz and senior Luke Shoven, each with 14, while Fritz also recorded 10 rebounds.
The Bobcats added another win to their belt on Friday, December 9, beating the Grant Park Dragons mightily, 72-43. Adyn McGinley again led the team with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Zack Johnson also had a good night, recording 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Ethan Rydberg and Ethan Turney each finished with an impressionable 8 points each.
Saturday, December 10, the Bobcats traveled to Herscher for a non-conference contest, bringing home their third win of the week. Beecher dominated Herscher, 77-32. It was the team’s sixth consecutive game scoring more than 70 points.
Adyn McGinley had 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals, with Zach Johnson adding another 18 points, along with 4 steals. Ethan Rydberg finished with 8 points and 4 assists, Orlin Nesbitt added 7 points and was 5/6 from the stripe, while Nate Diachenko recorded 7 points. The team recorded 18 assists on the night and are 7-1 overall on the young season!!
