Bobcats Take Back-to-Back Wins
The Beecher Bobcats had another perfect week, beginning on Tuesday, November 28, with a home conference match-up against Gardner-South Wilmington and beating GSW 80-49.
On the night, Zack Johnson led the scoring with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, with Adyn McGinley right behind with 18 points and 7 steals. Anthony Moran recorded 9 points, Orlin Nesbitt added 8 points and 5 rebounds, while Noah Berry finished with 7 points.
Then on Friday, December 1, the team traveled to Grant Park for another conference contest, securing a 75-43 victory. According to Coach Tyler Shireman, balanced scoring helped in the win.
Zack Johnson again was the lead scorer with 21 points and 5 assists, Jack Hayhurst, Orlin Nesbitt, and Ethan Rydberg each added 14 points, while Adyn McGinley finished the night with 6 points, 6 steals, and 4 assists. The Bobcats currently are 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in the RVC.
