March 24, Andrea Mazurek, 45, of the 600 block of Melrose Lane, Beecher, was involved in a vehicle crash at Dixie Highway and Church Road. She was charged with DUI, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, and possession of a controlled substance. Mazurek was processed and released on a notice to appear.

March 26, Jaqarius Hull, 24, of the 4200 block of Ohio Street, Gary, Indiana, was stopped at Rt. 394 and Goodenow Road for a vehicle equipment violation. He was issued a warning for the equipment violation and charged with a felony for unlawful possession of a title or registration documents. Hull was processed and released on a notice to appear.

March 30, Brittany Trusley, 35, of the 400 block of S. Main Street, Morocco, Indiana, was stopped in the 400 block of Dixie Highway for a cell phone violation and found to have a suspended driver’s license. She was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communication device and having a suspended driver’s license, street processed and released on a notice to appear.
