Beecher: On Friday, January 6, the Bobcats beat Gardner-South Wilmington, 77-54. For the Bobcats, Adyn McGinley had 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, with Rio Llamas finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Saturday, January 7, in the St Joseph-Ogden Shootout, Beecher beat Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, 64 – 48. On the day, Zack Johnson had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Adyn McGinley added 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, Ethan Rydberg – 8 points and 6 assists, while Rio Llamas finished with 6 points and 14(!) rebounds. Their overall record stands at 17-1.

Manteno: Thursday, January 5, the Lady Panthers lost their home conference game to Herscher, 28-45, with Manteno’s costly turnovers contributing to the loss. On the night, Katherine Gaffney had 11 points, Grace Sundeen finished with 6 points, and Drew Hosselton contributed 9 rebounds.
