Old National Donates $5,000 to Trinity Services

On Tuesday, May 9, representatives from Trinity Services in New Lenox were invited to attend a special ceremony to receive a check from Old National Bank for their participation in the institution’s recent Choose Your Charity giveaway to nonprofits. Trinity Services received a check from Old National Bank for $5,000, during a ceremony at the banking center in Mokena.
President and CEO Thane Dykstra, Ph.D., and Director of Development Sherry Ladislas represented Trinity Services. The award was presented by a group of Old National Bank employees, including: Jim Roolf, corporate relations officer; Marco Contreras, community market manager; Deonna Heffernan, Mokena banking center manager; Sara Friedman, Mokena assistant banking center manager; and Lynda Krakowsky, market service leader.
“This is a wonderful honor,” Dykstra said. “We are very grateful to our community supporters and to our friends at Old National Bank for such a generous donation. The money will be used to fund renovations to our STRIDES Therapeutic Riding Center and other programs.”
In March, Old National Bank ran a contest to donate $500,000 to community nonprofits in Illinois, Iowa, Northwest Indiana, and select areas of Southeast Wisconsin. Old National Bank invited local communities to vote online for their favorite nonprofit, with voting ending on March 31. Trinity Services received the generous award for the most votes in their area.
“Being able to assist nonprofits like Trinity Services is a real privilege,” Roolf said. “Old National Bank is very pleased to make this donation to help support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs.”
