Manteno Board Approves Property Tax Increase

Manteno property taxes will go up by 1.75 percent next year following approval of a tax levy ordinance by the Manteno Village Board at their Monday, December 18, meeting. Manteno does have an existing program that allows residents to apply for a 100 percent rebate of the village portion of their property tax bill. Additional information on the tax rebate process may be obtained by calling Manteno Village Hall at 815-929-4800.
