Kankakee County Sheriff‘s Rescue Dog

Spread the love

Residents assisted Sergeant R. Belcher in Cabery on New Year’s Day, when Sgt. Belcher was dispatched to Cabery, in the morning, regarding a dog that had fallen through the ice on a nearby pond. Neighbors observed the K9 in the freezing water and called it in. Sgt. Belcher worked with several area residents to rescue the dog and return it to its owner.

Nice heartwarming story to start the New Year.
