Kankakee County Property Tax Levy Less Than Last Year

At the Kankakee County Board meeting on Tuesday November 12, a resolution was passed in favor of a property tax levy in the amount of $24,383,000. County Finance Director Steve McCarty noted the total amount to be collected from Kankakee County residents will be $800,000 less in 2024.
