The University of Wisconsin-Madison recently announced students named to its fall semester Dean’s List, including Cailie Keating, Chelsea Verheyen, and Christopher Visak, all from New Lenox.

Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, announced students on its Dean’s List for the fall semester, including: Gabrielle Pavesich of Beecher; Charles Smith – Crete; Erin Albert and Alexis Picicco – Manhattan; plus Anna Cabay, Matthew Ruggiero, Kailey Wagner, and Gabriella Yaccino, all of New Lenox.

Madelyn Boley of Beecher and Benjamin Dorn of New Lenox recently were named to Monmouth College’s fall semester Dean’s List.

The University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, awarded 2,362 degrees during its fall commencement ceremonies in December. Local students receiving degrees were Ryan Hastings of New Lenox, Master of Science in Civil Engineering, and Matthew Wintercorn of New Lenox, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Named to the fall semester Dean’s List at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, were: Audrey Balester, Faith Coverick, Barbara Belka, Nicole Nelson, Annabelle Andrews, Morgan Hujda, Emma Rimkunas, and Ryan Hansen – all of New Lenox.

Iowa State University, in Ames, announced the following students earned placement on its fall semester Dean’s List: Lucy Newtoff, from Manhattan; Emma J. Heaney and Morgan L. Meaney, from Manteno; Stephen J. Fieffer, Alexander T. Kogut, and Ryan T. Nolan, all from New Lenox; and Demetrius D. Christou and Katherine C. Taylor, from Peotone.

Among the many students who received degrees from Northern Illinois University this fall were:

From Crete: Clint Ratkovich, Master of Business Administration/MBA

From Manhattan: John Irwin, Bachelor of Science, Health Sciences/Pre-Physical Therapy; and Colin Simkus, Bachelor of Arts, History

From Monee: Joshua Alegria, Master of Business Administration/MBA; and Kyle Pugh, Master of Science, Sport Management.

From New Lenox: Amanda DeVito, Bachelor of Science, Public Health/Health Administration; Amanda Grady, Bachelor of Science, Mathematics/General Mathematics; Kayla Meloy, Bachelor of Arts, Political Science/Politics and Governance; and Joseph Vacca, Master of Science, Management and Information Systems.

Northern Illinois University recently named the following local students to its Dean’s List for the fall semester:

From Beecher: Brittney Mazurek

From Crete: Jaiden Steele

From Manhattan: Elizabeth Goberville and Mikayla Gorzeman Mohr

From Manteno: Kaitlyn Hagge, Benjamin Koranda, and Andy Pacius

From Monee: Sarah Blickem

From New Lenox: Kara Carr, Cade Larson, Kayla Meloy, and Helen Rohn

From Peotone: Faith Asbrand and Kobe Baumgartner.

Named to the fall semester Dean’s List at Marquette University in Milwaukee, are Keagan Morgan from Crete; Julissa Ott – Monee; Allison Gardella, Taylor James, and Gretchen Zirgaitis – New Lenox; and Lauren Tures – Peotone.

A student at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, Trevor Schwiesow has been named to the college’s Dean’s List for the fall.

Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights announced the following full-time students achieved Dean’s List status for the fall:

From Beecher: Olivia Ipema, Megan Jonkman, and Katelyn Mulder

From Grant Park: Matthew Huizenga

From Monee: Alexandria Hofman

From New Lenox: Nicholas Andersen, Joshua Bakke, and Caitlyn Parrish

From Peotone: Jared Oates and Lily Ruckman.

Trinity Christian College also announced students named to its adult undergraduate fall Dean’s List, including: Makenzie Pryszcz and Kyle Ruettiger from New Lenox, plus Brittany Ivancich from Peotone. Adult undergraduate students who attend Trinity with six or more graded credits and earned a 3.8 grade point average earn this honor.

Elmhurst University students Jennifer Guerrero from Peotone and Alexi Littmann from New Lenox were named to the fall Dean’s List.

The following students have been named to the fall semester Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee: Emilie Nugent from Manteno; Alissa Breen, Nina Marchigiani, and Devan Whitehead, all from New Lenox; and Ava Ferrier from Peotone.

Crete resident Kyle Hoffmeyer was named a new Albion College Fellow at the end of the fall semester at the Michigan college. The honor is reserved for full-time students who maintain a GPA of 3.7 or higher for three consecutive semesters.
