Graduations

Brendan Bergman, from New Lenox, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement, on December 16, at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. Bergman graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Cassandra Meagher, of New Lenox, graduated from the University of Tampa on December 15 and received a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Management, BS International Business, and Marketing BS.

Jessica Janus, from New Lenox, graduated with a B.A. in English Education from Millikin University, in the Winter Commencement Ceremony on December 10, at Kirkland Fine Arts Center.

Dean’s/President’s/Faculty Lists

Madelyn Freiberg, of New Lenox and a Radiologic Science Major, has been named to the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Dean’s List for the fall semester.

Jack Urbanciz of Manhattan recently was named to the Quincy University Dean’s List for the fall semester.

Alivia Glas, of New Lenox, earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for the fall semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Taylor Carlson, of Park Forest, has been named to the fall Dean’s List at Florida Institute of Technology.

Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean’s Lists for the fall semester, including: Jacob Dorris, of New Lenox, High Dean’s List, and Delaney Balmer, of Peotone, Dean’s List.

The University of Tampa named to the fall semester Dean’s List Emily DeHoyos, a junior from Manhattan, and freshman Anthony Floyd, of New Lenox.

Western Illinois University recently announced students named to its fall semester Dean’s List, including the following local students.

From Frankfort: Kailey E. Lindaur;

From Manteno: Karli J. Wenzel;

From Mokena: Emma J. Mckenna, Tyler J. Raspante, and Elijah S. Thompson;

From New Lenox: Christian M. Kowalski, Cydney A. Solic, Hannah Elizabeth White, and Mackenzie D. White.

From Park Forest: Maia R. Ervin Walker; and

From Steger: James Sears Rich and Joseph M. Zaylik.
