Public Health/ Public Safety Committee Holding Controlled Burn

The Public Health and Public Safety Committee will host a side-by-side controlled burn ahead of October, which is Fire Prevention Month. This demonstration will be held at the Public Health and Public Safety September meeting.

The fire demonstration will take place in two rooms, located on a trailer. One room will be equipped with a sprinkler system and the other will go to a full fire. The public is welcome to come and observe on September 10, at 9 a.m., in the County Building parking lot, 302 N. Chicago Street Joliet.
