Providence Students Named Illinois State Scholars

Providence Catholic Principal Paul Houston announced that 46 students from the Providence Catholic graduating class of 2023 have been designated as Illinois State Scholars, representing 26 percent of the class.

“We are very proud of our Illinois State Scholars,” said Houston. “This is quite an academic achievement. Their commitment to excellence in academics truly defines them as leaders in the Providence Catholic community. We congratulate them on this success and look forward to seeing what they accomplish as they continue their academic careers.”

Congratulations to local Providence Illinois State Scholars: Frankfort – Zinn Amos, Cameron Fultz, and Mason Straight; Manhattan – Joseph Baumhardt and Alexander Ripp; Mokena – Sara Cooper, Collin Moran, Kameryn Springer, and James Tyler; Monee – Ryan Gade; and New Lenox – Robert Kernwein II, Emily Langlois, and Mallory Ritter.
