Summer Reading Program registration for kids/teens/adults, from zero to 100+, begins June 1 for adults and the week of June 5 for kids and teens. There is still time to be a sponsor of our SRP – “All Together Now.” Contact the library for more information.

Geocaching Competition begins June 5 and runs through August 5. This is a multi-library competition. So, get started to have a chance to win gift cards!

Youth Services

June 6: Bookworm Buddies, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages three to five years.

June 7: Little Learners Storytime, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero-three.

Adult Services

June 1: Clue – A Mystery Book Club, Thursday, at the library, from 11 a.m. to noon.

June 5: Book Bingo, Monday, at 11 a.m.

June 5 – June 10: Take-and-Make Spice Kit, Monday – Saturday, while supplies last.

June 6: The Friends of the PPLD Meeting, Tuesday, at 11 a.m., Cornerstone Coffee.

June 6: Tuesday With Books Discussion, from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.

June 6: Illinois Libraries Present Navigate Your Stars, with Jesmyn Ward, online, Tuesday, at 7 p.m. (register to receive program link).

June 7: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11-11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.
