The library will close early, at 3 p.m., on Good Friday, April 7.

The Friends of the Peotone Public Library District’s Spring Book Sale will be held on Thursday, April 13, from 3-7 p.m., Friday, April 14, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Saturday, April 15, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Youth Services

April 10: Family Movie Night, Monday, at 4:30 p.m. Please register.

April 11: Bookworm Buddies, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages three-to-five years.

April 12: Little Learners Storytime, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero-three.

April 13: Young Adult Book Talk, online, Thursday, at 5 p.m.

April 15: DIY Butterfly Houses at Monee Heritage Center, Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., with registration required.

Adult Services

April 6: Clue: A Mystery Book Club, Thursday, at the library, from 11 a.m. to noon.

April 6 – 8: Take-and-Make Craft, through Saturday, while supplies last.

April 10: DIY Wooden Birdhouse Planter Stick, To-Go Craft, Monday, at 11 a.m., must register.

April 12: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11-11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.
