On July 31, at approximately 2:41 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Lakeya Baker, 27, of Monee, for driving while license suspended after being stopped for improper lighting. Baker was processed and released.

On July 31, at approximately 12:09 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Danis Avila-Trochez, of Chicago Heights, for no valid driver’s license after being stopped for a registration violation. Avila-Trochez was processed and released

On July 31, at approximately 7:39 a.m., officers responded to a business in the 5700 block of Monee-Manhattan Road to investigate a disturbance between a customer and employee. Upon the officers arrival, they learned the customer was angry her burger was smaller and the chicken tenders were not the “average size.” Officers were able to calm the situation, and the complainant left without incident.

On August 1, at approximately 11:22 a.m., officers responded to the 26200 block of Ruby for an accident with injuries. Upon the officers arrival, they learned the victim was exiting her vehicle when the vehicle began to move backwards in reverse. While attempting to get back into the vehicle, the vehicle dragged the victim before the vehicle came to rest after striking a tree. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No citations issued.

On August 3, at approximately 9:43 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Oluseye Ajakaye, 52, of Beecher, for driving with a suspended registration after being stopped for speeding. Ajakaye was processed and released.
