Monee Police Blotter: August 28 – September 2
August 28, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Michael Hall, 38, of Riverdale, was arrested for driving while revoked and no insurance. He also was found to have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in Logan County. He was processed and bonded.
August 29, at approximately 6 p.m., officers took a fraud report from a subject who had mailed a money order for his mortgage payment. The victim advised the money order was mailed and never made it to the bank. A track shows a female subject cashed the money order after changing the information on it. The Chase bank, where the order was cashed, is retrieving information for investigators.
August 29, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a Mulberry Lane disturbance led officers to locate the aggressor on Governors Highway. Cody Tobuch, 32, of Monee, had a disagreement with family members before leaving his mother’s home. When he was located, he lied to officers about his name and vehicle ownership. He was also DUI, which was added to the possession of alcohol, no insurance, and stop sign violations. Further inspection uncovered several rounds of shotgun ammunition, which he could not lawfully possess with a revoked FOID. He was transported to Joliet.
September 1, at approximately 9 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Brandon Galimore, 23, of Richton Park, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to Will County Detention.
September 2, at approximately 1 a.m., a Monee-Manhattan Road traffic stop for suspended plates, evolved into a charge of driving while revoked and no insurance. Jelisa Howard, 32, of Riverdale, was processed and bonded.
September 2, at approximately 2 a.m., a Main Street traffic stop for suspended plates, evolved into a charge of driving while revoked and no insurance. Jasmia Edmond, 23, of Monee, was processed and bonded.
