Lady Panthers End Week with 14-2 Win

Thursday, March 28, the Lady Panthers ended their week of play while on the road at Bloom High School and brought home a 14-2 victory against the Blazing Trojans.

On the day, the Panthers scored 14 runs, on 10 hits, with no errors. Bloom had 2 runs, which were scored in the fifth, on 7 hits, in addition to 2 errors.

According to Coach Josh Carlile, “Tonight, we were able to get quality time out of a lot of different girls. It’s nice to see production from all our team members. Macy Iwanus had a day – hitting 2 home runs, along with 4 RBIs. She also picked up the win in the circle, while controlling the entire game. Alyssa Singleton added three hits, including two doubles.”

The Lady Panthers ended the week at 9-0 overall and 1-0 in ICE. Their next game will be at home on Monday, April 1, against Wilmington.
