In the second set, ILHS started the set with the first two points. The Chargers were up 5-3, when a serving run by TriPoint put them up 11-5. Zoe Biesterfeld stepped to the serving line and served 6 straight points to put the Chargers at set point, 24-19. Clifton got a side out and went on a run to go up 7-4. A Charger side out and a 5-point run behind the serving of Mia Jacobucci put the Chargers ahead 10-7. They increased the lead to 18-13, but Clifton came back to get within one at 21-22. The Chargers were able to take advantage of some late serving errors by Clifton and finished the third set and the match with a 25-23 win.
