Genevieve L. Shreffler Bullock, 79, of Peotone, died Sunday July 8, 2018, at The Cottages of New Lenox.
Born October 8, 1938, in Kankakee, she was formerly employed by the Krohler Furniture Factory in Bradley. During her life, she was active in the American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary and loved sewing, making crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Bullock is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald Bullock, whom she married on February 12, 1956, in Bonfield; two daughters, Debbie (David) Smit and Cindy (Gary) Fowler, both of Peotone; five grandchildren, Terina (Al) Taylor, Douglas (Kristen) Smit, Tabatha (Adam) Gordon, Dawn (James) Barrett and Michelle (Zachary) Montpetit; 11 great-grandchildren, Zackary, Avery, and Jacob Taylor, Raegan and Keegan Smit, Kaleb and Jared Gordon, Josephine and Sophia Barrett, and Isabella and Camden Montpetit; a brother, Edwin (Janet) Shreffler; and an aunt, Geraldine Wilson Tofari.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie P. and Ilene Wilson Shreffler.
