Mark your calendars for three free up-coming shredding events, which are all on Saturdays, from 9 to 11 a.m., including: June 1, at Monee Village Hall, 5130 W. Court Street; June 22, First Community Bank in Beecher; and September 21, First Community Bank in Peotone.

This is a perfect opportunity to have personal documents safely destroyed. There is a limit of two banker boxes per vehicle, and cardboard boxes containing documents will not be returned.
