Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow announced the Joliet Exchange Club donated $1,000 to the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center. Joliet Exchange Club President Dan Kallan presented the check to Glasgow following a tour of the CAC.

“The CAC continually is enhancing and expanding the services we provide children, ages three-17, who have endured sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, sexual exploitation, child pornography, neglect, and exposure to violence,” Glasgow said.

“Our specially trained trauma professionals provide critical forensic interview, advocacy, and therapy services for these children that begins the day they walk through our doors and continues for as long as needed. Generous contributions, such as this donation from the Joliet Exchange Club, directly benefit the children we serve by helping to fund these and other programs that provide tangible services,” he remarked.

Annually, the Will County CAC provides hope, healing, and justice for more than 700 children, who have endured physical and sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, child pornography, neglect, and exposure to violence.

“The Joliet Exchange Club works to eradicate child abuse through its support of local programs, and our contribution to the CAC aligns perfectly with this mission,” Kallan said. “Our motto is ‘Unity for Service,’ and we know working together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of these children, who have endured trauma.”
