District 200-U Ends Year with Staff Recognition Assembly
Beecher School District 200-U concluded another successful school year last week with a Staff Recognition Assembly recognizing retirees Beth Hayhurst, for 28 years as an elementary school teacher, and Marcia Blouin, with 18 years as a district art teacher.
Also, special recognition was given to the following teachers with 30+ years of service: Melissa Ohlendorf with 35.5 years, plus Kerry Pikal and Tiffany Serafin, with 30 years. Their many years of service are a true testimony to the dedication to 200-U and the Beecher Community, and they are truly valued for their contributions.
Other Service Awards included: Nathan Schwarzentraub and Terri Waterman, with 15 years of service, Barb Becker, Theresa Ledford, and Steve Sarsany – 10 years of service, and Linsey Berger, Mary Burdick, Janette Chose, Dr. Jack Gaham, and Barb Swanson – five years of service.
Beecher Community Unit School District 200-U wishes to thank each of these individuals, all of whom contribute to the success of 200-U and help make a difference in the lives of the children, as well as in making Beecher a great place to be.
