Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild

Earth Science Club
The South Suburban Earth Science Club will meet Thursday, January 4, at 7 p.m., at Park Forest Library – 400 Lakewood Blvd. in Park Forest. Members will share their fossils and minerals.
SSESC is dedicated to promoting and educating one on the study of earth sciences, which includes minerals, archaeology, lapidary arts and processes, fossil collecting, identification and display.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 2521 meets each Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Chapter 2458 meets each Wednesday with weigh-ins at 9 a.m. and the meeting at 10 a.m. Both Chapters meet at the Community Center. Meals on Wheels Needs Delivery Drivers
How can you help to keep the wheels turning? Volunteer drivers are needed for the Crete, Monee Meals on Wheels program to deliver meals to homebound seniors in the Crete, Monee, University Park and Steger areas. Volunteer drivers are asked to donate as little as two hours per week to deliver meals. Substitute delivery drivers also are needed.
