Crete Health and Safety Fair Offers Wide Variety of Great Free Services

Crete Fire Department personnel are always ready to help, so it’s no surprise they turned out for the Health and Safety Fair, where they were happy to answer questions about fire safety. The Health and Safety Fair co-hosted by the Crete Fire Department and the Crete United Methodist Church had plenty to offer, including no-charge health screenings will include blood pressure checks, blood sugar checks, Hepatitis C screening, and body mass index measurements. Refreshment tent volunteers from Crete United Methodist Church offered water, coffee and donuts for participants of the recent Health and Safety Fair there. They also accepted donations for the food pantry, which helps families through tough times on a daily basis.
