Coach Steve Strough was honored Monday, December 27, for attaining 300 career wins. The ceremony was just after Peotone beat Beecher at the Holiday Classic Tournament, 54-43. Strough coached Watseka from 2005-2007, where he racked up 28 wins before joining Peotone in 2008 and accumulated an additional 272 wins. Current and former players attended the ceremony during the holiday break to show their appreciation for Strough and his efforts. Both nets were cut down and all players, current and former, along with Steve and his family took a piece of the net to commemorate the achievement.
