C-M Focus Group Seeking Business Skills Feedback
The C-M 201-U Community Business Leaders’ Focus Group is seeking feedback on what skills businesses are looking for in today’s successful employee.
As a result, the C-M 201-U Community Mentors are looking for local businesses and organizations to participate in providing help and support to the district’s high school students for volunteering or employment opportunities. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 3, from 6:30 – 8 p.m., at Crete-Monee High School, 1515 W. Exchange Street, in Crete.
Business partners will: Provide insight into what they seek in a potential employee during a focus group; conduct mock interviews with students; and have access to candidates who have copleted the training program.
Students will: Complete a five-session Employee Skill Training Workshop where they will practice the suggested skills and attend mock interviews with the business representatives.
To secure a spot, contact Cheryl Hineline at hinelinec@cm201u.org or call 708-367-8310.
