Annalee Rose Grunert, 80, of Monee, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018, in Chicago.
Born September 17, 1938, in Omaha, Neb., she married Richard Grunert in Oak Lawn and gave birth to her daughter in Blue Island during the late 1960s. She retired from Mayor Brown and Platt, where she was formerly a paralegal for more than 20 years. She was heavily involved in animal welfare rights, governmental politics, and her Christian faith.
Mrs. Grunert is survived by a daughter, Julie Brandt; grandchildren, Michael and Chris Brandt; nieces and nephews, Eric Framberg, Elaine Framberg, and Deborah (Framberg) and Steve Murley; great-nieces and nephews, Joshua Framberg, Cory Framberg, Rachel Murley, Grace Murley, Brandon Murley and Justin Murley; and a cousin, Lynne Helm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Kathleen Framberg; a brother, Eric Framberg; and a nephew, David Framberg.
