Amazing Week for Lady Bobcats

On Monday, May 15, the Lady Bobcats played a non-conference contest against Coal City and brought home a 7-5 victory. On the day, Beecher scored 7 runs, on 14 hits, with no errors. The Coalers scored 5 runs, on 9 hits, along with 1 error. Taylor Norkus, who is 9-1 in the circle, got the win.

In regional play on Saturday, May 20, the Lady Bobcats beat the Manteno Panthers, 8-1, in 7 innings. The Bobcats scored 8 runs, on 11 hits, with 1 error, while Manteno tallied 1 run, on 5 hits, and 4 errors. Ava Lorenzatti took the win on the mound, with an amazing 10 strikeouts for the contest, while boosting her record to 17-3.

This is Beecher’s 17th regional play in the program’s history. The Lady Bobcats are 31-5 overall for this amazing season.
